Ask The Readers: Want To Answer Your Kids Questions?

November 2, 2009 , Posted by Penny Pinching Parent at 11/02/2009

Do you have a little one in the "Who," "What," "When," "Where" Stage? We sure do at our house... I honestly don't think my daughter stops to take a breath some days.

I really love this stage. I know it can be exhausting to answer all those little questions, but how cool is it that your little one comes to you to ask all these questions, that you help your child learn!?!

I don't know what our parents did. They didn't have the Internet, so what did they do when they didn't know the answer? If I don't know the answer to one of my daughter's questions, I'm honest and say "Sweetie, I am not sure why. Why don't we look that up when we get home?" I am pretty sure most of us out there grew up with some made up answers to some of our questions.

I love learning with my daughter and involving her in the search for the answers. There is a site called whyzz. Their "tag line" is whyzz parents raise wise kids" and it's an interactive site where you can get "kid friendly" answers to your questions... I think we have all search for something totally innocent online and found something we weren't quite looking for... you don't have to worry about that on whyzz, the questions are anwered in a kid friendly manner.

To have a great site with tons of answers, you need lots of questions and to see what moms, dads, grandparents out there are being faced with... what's going on in those little minds out there???

Well, whyzz wants your help, they want your questions. They are hosting a question/answer segment where their experts will answer your questions. Have you recently been stumped by something your curious toddler asked? Leave a comment here on Penny Pinching Parent with your question and the experts on whyzz will answer them for you! I will even get the Q & A started with some questions from my little one this weekend.

Thanks for your input and be sure to check out whyzz for answers to those hard to answer questions?
