What does the PPP family think?

Our goal, like most parents I am sure, is to make home learning fun for our little one. You know when a child begs, yes... begs, you to play a game that you have a hit. This is the case with Discovery Toys Busy Farm. Our almost 3 year old LOVES to play with the Busy Farm.

Here's a look at why the PPP family likes this great toy/game so much...

  • Quality- The quality of this game is great, much more than I expected at this price point. The cards are a thick card stock and have a glossy or laminated type finish, so they can withstand a toddler/preschooler... we have already drawn on ours with crayon and decided we wanted to walk all over them & they are fine! Honest, the crayon wiped right off and they withstood the tiny feet of my 2 year old. The little animal game pieces are are extremely high quality. They are substantial and have some weight to them. They are really cute little animals and they are fun to play with. Also, I love the fact that everything packs into a heavy duty box that has a little handle and makes it great for little ones to carry around.
  • Activities- The cards are double-sided and there are lots of activities. Also, with each Discovery Toy you get a little booklet that gives you some extra ideas on how you can play with their toys... this is great.
  • Toddler (almost Preschooler) Approved- I love how much my little one loves this game! I enjoy playing it with her and seeing how proud she is when she knows the answers, especially the sequencing. Any learning activity that makes your child feel good about themselves, is fun and teaches them is definitely a hit in my book.

A note about Discovery Toys:

When I was contacted and asked to do a review of some Discovery Toys items it was the first time I had heard of Discovery Toys. They are sold by independent reps and it is a home based business. I will be sharing a couple more reviews over the next few days. I think you will find based on my reviews that I am very impressed with the quality and educational aspect of their toys, but also that our little one seems to like them so much. I highly suggest you check out their educational and fun toys... they have a great selection of items for infants to school age children and the prices are surprisingly reasonable...70% of their catalog of items available are under $20!
